JeanTHOMPSONWith heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jean Thompson. Jean passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 17th June, after showing incredible strength and courage. She is now reunited with her devoted and dearly loved husband, Ronnie, whom she missed so much. The world has truly lost one of the good ones. Jean will be remembered for her kindness, love, strength, and the lasting impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Jean was the immensely loved wife of the late Ronnie, a devoted mother to Sharon and Lisa, a cherished grandmother to Stephanie, Alfie, and Megan, and a much-loved great-grandmother to Alice, Jake, and Lucy. She was also a dearly loved sister to Elaine, Don, Ellen, June, Alan, and Brenda, and a much-loved auntie who will be sadly missed by all her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Funeral will take place at Mountsett Crematorium, Monday 6th July at 1-15pm.
Family flowers only and donations in lieu, if desired, to Dementia UK. Everyone is warmly invited back to Consett Golf Club for refreshments.
